Subject: IDNET 'spammers'
After the 'IDNET-v-ZEN' conversation of last week, I got a reply
regarding the abuse and spam from IDNET customers. I was told this was an
'isolated case' by IDNET.

A review of a few weeks worth of logs show it to be anything *other* than
isolated. For an ISP of their size it looks like the spam output from
IDNET customers is consistently high - be this deliberate or by bot
infestaion.

Nov  3 10:39 RCPT from cust237-dsl45.idnet.net[212.69.45.237]: 550 5.7.1
Rejected; blocked by Barracuda b.barracudacentral.org; http://
www.barracudanetworks.com/reputation/?pr=1&ip=212.69.45.237;
from=<jonathan.car...@first-found.co.uk> to=<{munged}@{munged}>
proto=ESMTP helo=<server2k3.javelin.local>

So a big thanks to IDNET customers for your ongoing support of a spam
friendly ISP :-P
