AP says seven dead. Official reports are now 12 to 15 wounded. Unofficial reports (Kay Bailey Hutchinson and others) also say 7 dead but are saying "up to thirty" wounded.

Both Anita Dunn, Al Grayson, Valerie Jarrett and other Obama thugs have declared war and have enemy lists of those they wish dead by inciting this on TV. ALL Republicans, Conservatives, News Reporters they hate (they started with Lou Dobb). People willing to fight for their country are usually republicans. People willing to tear down the country are lefty wimpy liars. If a soldier was involved he or she was only acting under orders from Dunn Grayson, Jarrett and Pelosi, and Obama. None of which has made an effort to our young soliders begging for help in Afghanastan and who CONTINUALLY appear on TV declaring to their base who THEIR ENEMIES ARE and they DECLARED WAR on them.

Officials are not ruling out the possibility that some of the casualties may have been victims of "friendly fire," that in the mayhem and confusion at the shooting scene some of the responding military officials may have shot some of the victims.

Given the presence of a SWAT team, that's entirely likely. If so, the SWAT's will be protected by the usual loophole, i.e. all legal and civil liability falls on the SWAT's intended target, if they even knew at whom they were shooting .

Hmmm... one doesn't just become a major overnight, save battlefield commissions... I wonder whether there were any indications that he was on the edge. Has there been any speak as to motive? Was it a "muslim" deal?

He has none. Other than the shooter and the cops, no one else had guns. I haven't yet seen where the other cop, the woman's boss, had one but I assume that since they were both on duty, he did. I have seen in the papers and news reports that all four hits on the shooter were by her.

Let's see if I have this healthcare thingy right. Congress is to pass a plan written by a committee whose head has said he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it, signed by a president who hasn't read it, with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes because he didn't understand TurboTax, overseen by an obese Surgeon General and financed by a country that's nearly broke. What could possibly go wrong?

Trained officers in the NYPD hit their intended target with field firearm discharges 18% of the time in 2004 and 6% of the time in 3005.. That means they missed their intended target with over 4 out of 5 shots in 2004 and over 9 out of 10 in 2005.

It was a crowded area and none of the other folks around were armed until the two cops showed up.
