Looking at a bin full of dead props at a marina and being told how cavitation scours paint from them, it occurred to me that one might be able to use cavitation effects to clean underwater structures. Use a sound transducer to cause cavitaion bubbles and direct them toward a close surface and they collapse and scour it clean. Thoughts?... more »
