Is there any evidence to suggest that it is possible for an adult with strabismus but with two otherwise healthy eyes - who has *never* had stereopsis - to develop stereopsis with or without surgery?

Today I realized that what was look at wasn't clear. My distance visions seemed fine, but close up I had a blurry spot in the middle. It was the same with either eye closed. FLOATERS - question

Just under 5 years ago I developed a large floater in my left eye. It still perminantly blocks my vision (as in makes it blurry). Within a month I had developed smaller ones in my right eye. To this day these ones float around more, so one minute things are blurry and the next minute things are clear.... more »
