the nth derivative of a function can be achieved from the inverse of
the lower triangular Pascal matrix .
The pdf "Matrix Calculus" in the section "Matrix Calculus" of the site
http://ilario.mazzei.googlepages.com/home provides a demonstration by
induction of the theorem.
