  That would clogs even the biggest hard drives in a jiffy. 5-10GB per &lt;br&gt; movie is a lot of gigabytes. &lt;br&gt; Except that if people really wanted to do that they already can. On &lt;br&gt; their PC. &lt;br&gt; But unfortunately when it comes to computing theirs are rather &lt;br&gt; incompatible products.

  Last time I used twinlead, except for fiddling around, was on the family &lt;br&gt; TV antenna installation using an Allied Radio Corodized VHF antenna, &lt;br&gt; with Beldon Super Permaohm 300 ohm shielded twinlead. Good stuff. &lt;br&gt; greg

  Maybe... when it&#39;s new, of the right type (e.g. tubular), clean, dry, &lt;br&gt; and carefully installed. &lt;br&gt; My understanding is that the performance of 300-ohm twinlead &lt;br&gt; installations tends to deteriorate significantly after a few years &lt;br&gt; (sunlight and ozone attacks the twinlead, and dirt and pollution &lt;br&gt; builds up) and during wet weather.

  Unlikely ... looks nothing like the ones I&#39;ve used. Both the connections to &lt;br&gt; the active part appear to be on the same side (left-right as opposed to &lt;br&gt; front-rear). Also, the facing surface is non-uniform. Since avalanche &lt;br&gt; photodiodes are usually made by evaporating some conductor onto the wafer &lt;br&gt; the front surface should be near mirror-like unless it has been damaged
