Right. If you want to criticize the Obamas for that, fine.
But leave the kids out of it. It's called "human decency."

OK... sounds reasonable.

But the lib/progressives sure didn't believe that when a couple of
Bush kids in college behaved... you know... like college kids.

I agree, really.  The right should not sink to the same level as the

Are Obama's children basking in the spotlight like Jenna and Barbara
Bush did, or are you yet again drawing a false (dishonest) parallel?

Well put, sir.  Except, you misspelled "basking in the spotlight,

Yeah, cuz going out to a bar and having a drink as a college student
is "basking in the spotlight".

I was one top-notch basker in my day.

I saw Jenna on the Leno show the other night.  She wasn't "basking in
the spotlight" of her celebrity, she was there because she ... um, she
talked being married, she talked about ... there were no movies
involved, there wasn't a family tragedy ... she was there because ...

damn.  Not much to go on other than she's the former president's
daughter.

But in her defense, she questioned her mom in the "10 at 10" questions
because her mom ... well, is her mom and don't all moms get to go on
Leno?

Elementary school girls != College girls.

This may help you avoid visits by the local police
as a result of your social life, etc.

Do you seriously think you're kidding anyone with this nonsense?

"...in the winter of 2003, she decided to become involved in the 2004
campaign.[7] In response to this decision, she made media appearances
during the summer of 2004 prior to the election. She and her sister made
several joint public appearances, including giving a speech to the
Republican Convention on August 31, 2004.[8] She made headlines when she
was found sticking her tongue out to media photographers at a campaign
stop in St. Louis.[9] Jenna and Barbara took turns traveling to swing
states with their father and also gave a seven-page interview and photo
shoot in Vogue.[4] The media also extensively covered the campaigning of
John Kerry's daughters Vanessa and Alexandra, making the "battle of the
daughters" a human interest element of the campaign."

The newest standard of fairness was established with the loons'
treatment of Sarah Palin's daughter.  I think we can do better than
that.
