Well, I picked Stanford, so at least something went right for me today.

Well, not sure. This way, they could be bad, but still sneak into a bowl game and knock off Tennessee for a reasonable season. The year they played BC & Nebraska in the OOC, they went 3-9. We'll see if next year's opening blowout loss at Alabama helps them when it comes time for conference play.

I'm not talking about playing ranked opponents. I'm talking about playing teams that would prepare them for their tougher opponents.
On the other hand padding the schedule has no ill effects in terms of ranking so I understand as most teams do that. If the team is simply bad, then it makes sense to do that so they get to a bowl and make money but they are only getting attention because of olden reputation and not performance. Is this satifying to their fans as that storied of a program?

I looked up Jim Harbaugh. His coaching record is impeccable. Dare I hope Michigan hires him? He will likely go to the NFL, but I think he belongs in college football, and will return.
