The headline on yahoo was that the Tide "roll into the SEC title game" with their win over LSU and they have really no ... none, not one, decisive win over anyone of any importance all year long.
But yet, if they beat Florida, with their own impressive resume of *nobody* they get a pass into the MNC.

if alabama beats florida they will have beaten:
-a virginia tech that will probably finish the year ranked -a fairly highly ranked lsu team -an arkansas team that is decent and will probably go to a bowl -an auburn team that is decent and will probably go to a bowl -a tennessee team that is playing really good right now and will go to a bowl -a florida team that is currently #1
that would be *by far* the most impressive collection of wins in the country.

if bama beats florida, who would have three better wins in the country than vatech, lsu, and florida?

Then again, y'all knew that 'ready, write? ------------------------------------------------------ Welcome to the SEC-bought BCS. ---------------------------------------------------- So, you are saying if one of you're favorite Pac 10 teams had gone undefeated, they wouldn't have played for the BCS title? It's easy to say "SEC bought" but yet you have no facts outside of pure jealousy.
