Why would they make them more worthy? As far as humans go, I'm guessing its partially because of how they looked in those games, and the more recent impressive wins or embarrassing wins factor in more than less recent ones. Bama started hot and started tapering off, Texas started off weak and started getting hot. People have already mentally given it to Florida so they are all good no matter how crappy they look.

I'm not familiar with the term "embarrassing win". It must be a new category that has not reached the local newspaper yet.

Bama played a weaker schedule for about 5 games. The "tapering off" might be due to playing better teams.

I have no "but" for that.
Today is our season. Well, not really, but if you goal is the MNC, today will tell whether we remain in the chase.
As usual, I hope LSU plays the best game they have ever played and that Bama plays just a little bit better. I hope it is a very sportsmanlike game, with no season-ending injuries and no officials calls to explain.
