I am still laughing, as I am sure you are, over his clear implication that I am an Ayn Rand devotee, and his subsequent attempts to weasel out of his implication when you confronted him about it.
I was a Randian at one time. I have read both the Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged many times.
*** This explains your insanity a little ***
I greatly admire Rand's intellect. I attended one of her lectures in 1968 in Boston, when she was at the height of her powers. As soon as she started speaking, you knew for sure that you were in the presence of a great mind. *** And this explains it a lot. ***
I still agree with her analysis of logic as the foundation for all knowledge, as well as her analysis of creative geniuses versus second handers.
I just disagree with her about what is in my enlightened self- interest. I believe it is in my own self-interest to live in a society where there are no homeless people and no one lives in extreme poverty. And I believe it is a proper role of government to levy taxes to fund the elimination of homelessness and poverty. Our society is wealthy enough to perform this function without imposing an onerous tax burden on the producers of wealth. Cut the defense budget in half, and you would have more than enough money to end homelessness and poverty forever.
But that's just me. I'm a liberal Democrat. What do I know? *** Not much, but that's irrespective of your political affiliation

It's an amusing _adaptation_ of a Lenon song that fits with the "theme" of this thread. Whoosh!! That one went right over your head, Will. Rare for you. He was saying that you might as well ask for world peace as ask Beldin to show some sportsmanship and sense of humor, especially with regard to a song which mocks Beldin.

Apparently you really think I didn't know that. That was obviously what he meant. My question stands.

You'll understand if I dismiss these comments as the rantings of an illiterate. You've never once shown me that you've read anything I've said. This is WHY you're a shithead. EVERY response to you shows I read every word you post, moron. This is because I RESPOND to every word you post.

No, son. The point is to learn something TRUE, not jump to some moronic conclusion, like you did yet again.
Your whole "government isn't permitted unless it can be denied" rant shows you don't live in the real world.
And, you incredible shithead, you seemed amazed that I got your point at once. It was rather obvious, and so I'm amused that you thought it'd be hard.
The sad fact is, you know very little about life. And you know less about how dependent you are on other people for nearly everything you use every day.
Let's see how bright you really are. WHY can't you reason out morality? This is the fundamental flaw of Randian thought. It explains wars throughout history, and massive political differences.

No, what you did was completely miss the point, over and over and over. It's incredible your ability to do that, even now. When I tell you outright that nothing you say is taken seriously and all I'm ever going to do with you is continually fuck with you because I find your jackassery amusing, you keep responding to me as though I'm speaking to you on some other level. Again your comprehension goes right out the window. Even when I say these things, you still keep trying to respond, because you can't read.
You still don't get it, no matter how plainly I spell it. I just can't believe how much it chaps your ass that I won't respond to you in any other way than this, but you keep acting the same way that got me to respond to you in this way in the first place. Are you sure you get it, tardo?

So what you're doing right here is admitting that you've never read either of those books, right? Just want to be sure. Since you were such a god damn expert a minute ago on Rand.

No, fuckhead. See, AGAIN, this shows that you're a shithead. OTHER people read this, see how stupid your position is, and laugh at your stupidity. Doesn't matter if you aren't trying, you're still a total fucking moron

WOW, you're totally dense. ANY TIME, shithead, you take a position in public that someone can rip to shreds, you look like the fucking imbecile you are. It DOESN'T MATTER if you tell yourself you're just fucking around, you STILL look like a fucking shit for brains. It's ok Beldin, I'm pretty sure you can still make friends with people now that you've turned a new leaf. Congrats.
It takes a big man to admit he's been a jackhole for a long time and decides to try to claw his way out of the killfile through civility. You've come a long way tonight, Beldin, I'm sure everyone appreciates it.
