It would be just perfect!! The interface is amazing, It does have an advanced todo list. Its expands and collapse the cells in month view, it has a year view, it has an amazing printing option.
You can't ask for any better calendar way.
Dear google please either add those functionalities or buy scrybe :D
Oh Google I love you dearly and you won't find a bigger or more loyal fan but this Scrybe thing will really test my faithfulness when it is released. Google I would love you to buy scrybe or copy em', I think i speak for many!!!!!!!!

Scrybe really looks very neat :o The user interface is very appealing and ideas like the time-zone support are innovative. Other features like offline working and data synchronization I wouldn't really need, but they can't hurt either.
I'd really like to see Google pick up some of those ideas and put them into their own calendar. The web-snippets thing for instance could be copied rather cheap by integrating Google notebook instead of the primitive description text area.
I use Google calendar as my primary organizer, but it clearly lacks some basic features like a todo list or a more sophisticated notifications system.
But let's not panic, Google calendar is still beta and Scrybe isn't out yet ;-)

Totally agree! I LOVE Google and all that they have available for FREE -- but Scrybe sounds like the perfect calendar!!! Seriously, I would like to keep Google Calendar but if Scrybe comes out, there's a huge chance I'll have to switch over unless Google can add on functions like what they have going on ; ) Requesting!
Things change and evolve all the time, and this time next year perhaps scrybe will have prompted even better products. Point I'm making is, Google aren't stupid enough to leave their caliendar unchanged. Scrybe looks amazing and the offline thing is ok but I feel unnecessary considering everything is online nowadays, we're not on dialup any more. But Google integrates many things which is a big plus, at least for me. I'll be taking a look at scrybe as it certainly looks incredible, but I also think Google won't stand still.
My biggest thing is to have lots of printing options, I have a lot of different things going on all the time. Many of the calendars lack this :( I am also one of Google's faithful, they never sit idle and wait to catch up... they lead the others.
Im just sayin if they wanna start developing same features in scrybe it'll take them ages :D But if they buy it :> we will have a notebook and calendar full of features >:D<
I never loose my faith on Google but I want them to excite me than make me just happy!

Wow, just watched the video and signed up for the scrybe beta notice. It looks amazing. Yes, Google, if you are listening (and I know you are ;) ) either emulate or aquire :) It's tough to judge based on a video alone, we will see how the product comes out in the end. But it looks sweet, loved the timezone feature, loved the printable folding schedule, loved everything.
Yeah this thing is pure pure class. Their equivalent of Google Notes rocks, the folding schedule rocks. It's nice to see how much thought the developers have put into Scrybe.
I also think Remember the Milk is a class product that provides something sorely missing in Google Calendar!
Add me to the list of loyal Google users who want to see Google add the options Scrybe is claiming they will offer. I love my Google calendar but just wish they would pick up on some the functionality that Scrybe seems to have added. The TODO list, Notes, and the PRINT options just to name a few. Sounds to me that the Scrybe producer is clearly putting his product up for bid to Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. I just hope Google either takes the popularity of the options offered and adds them to their calendar or is the one who buys Scrybe.
Yes, I too like the fancy video for Scrybe - however let's all beware vapourware! I'll be happier when i see it operating (or maybe I won't be, I don;t know yet!).
I start thinking that video was for real, lool . I have been royal to Google for years but when I compare some products with the ones out there... for instance:
Google hompage --> netvibes Google Docs and Sheets --> Zoho Gmail is still the best GTalk --> Y! Messenger, Live Messenger Orkut --> Yahoo 360! and so on..
I mean its not mostly about functionality, but the interface design has a big role too. Imagine in one ig tab I can place maximum 5 rss reader, when I compare it with netvibes its more than 10 and it looks much prettier.
I don't want Google to be a sophisticated, intelligent But ugly girl, I want it pretty, cute, sexy, smart! like: Hmm can't think of any pretty, cute, sexy, smart girl
Just thought I'd throw out that I'm using Google Calendar right now, and the way I get around the lack of to-do list is to use them in my google homepage. With firefox especially, it's no effort to tab back and forth. Granted it doens't have the calendar linking capabilites, but it'll do until Google decides to bless us with something more awesome.
And I'll try out scrybe. There's no reason not to. I wouldn't trash my Google calendar by any means. But it's always good to get a feel for what else is out there.
Ok, I received the beta account yesterday. It is amazing how smooth that thing is working so far. But the thing scares me out a bit is, its all in flash.
It loaded very fast, todo list works great! and the other thing i love is paperSync option. In my opinion it is definitely better than GCalendar in a way. But all my data are in GCal and I like Google. So I hope they starts to improve GCal or add some main functionality in there,
