I just got a G1 and have been a GMail / Calendar user for some time.
My existing calendar events (130+ of 'em) are not showing up on my
phone, though my contacts and mail appeared right away.
When I go into the G1's "Data Synchronization" settings, I see the
little round "refreshing" icon frozen in place for Calendar (it never
spins).
If I force a "sync now", I see the same icon appear briefly and spin
for each of the other sync categories (Gmail and Contacts), but the
Calendar one remains frozen in place.
I let it go overnight, but no change. As a test, I added a new event
into the phone. It eventually appeared on my calendar, but not very
soon after forcing a sync.
Does anyone have advice as to how I should proceed (or where I can
find more details about how and when this calendar syncing is supposed
to work)?
