Thank you very much for giving me a opportunity to be a member of the
e-group discussions and its very interesting to contribute for the
discussions and give comments on current critical issues common in the
region. As a organization we are very keen on those issues and
programmes for the year of sanitation. Practical Action Consulting,
South Asia, provides consultancy services with in the country and the
region as well especially in water and sanitation.

Practical Action was founded in the UK in 1966, as ITDG (the
Intermediate Technology Development Group), by the radical economist
Dr EF Schumacher to prove that his philosophy of ‘Small is Beautiful’
could bring real and sustainable improvements to people’s lives.  It
is working in several countries through country and regional offices
based in Bangladesh, Kenya, Nepal, Peru, Sri Lanka, Sudan and
Zimbabwe. Practical Action has more than 35 years experience of
improving water supply, sanitation and waste management. Practical
Action's expertise in water, sanitation and the environment is focused
around understanding water priorities from the perspective of poor
communities; therefore take a broad, integrated view of the use of
water resources. Practical Action Consulting (PAC) is the consulting
arm of Practical Action.

If there are any opportunities in water and sanitation in the region
we are looking for the partnerships with relevant local organizations
to submit EOI,s , proposals collaboratively and work in joint manner.
Organization interests on working in Pakistan regarding the water and
sanitation. We have our water and sanitation expert Mansoor Ali for
the guidance who is based in UK, if we get any opportunity to work in
Pakistan. Hope that for future opportunities, we will be able to work
together and find opportunities in the sector. Any way please keep
sharing your knowledge, experience and best practices with us. We are
interested in solid waste management, waste water, drinking water and
ecosan.
