Thank you for initiating discuaaion on such an important topic. Hare
are a few of my comments:

Important thing for the water policy is that it should be implemented.
It must not be another document with glorious words, artistic
statement of facts and magnificent strategies without any
implementation status on the ground. I think the best course of action
would be its formation and implementation going on side by side with
changes incorporated in the policy in the light of the practical
problems.
Another important aspect of water policy should be its linkages with
city cleanliness system particularly that of sewerage system. At
present there is danger of water pollution during distribution because
of blocked sewerage system
Besides, if we want to interlink it with health policy we have to
improve the sewerage system, the defective system is the cause of
health hazards & many water born diseases particularly in congested
cities and town areas.
