American culture has really taken fast food to all the corners of the
world.
But let's assume this takes place in the high peaks of the Andes where
a crash just like the one I present really happened...
Yes, I remember when it happened, and read about it in the local newspapers.
They did not kill someone in order to *eat* them however.
To stay alive they did eat of those who had died in the crash. They stayed
alive.
To say that it is wrong -- a body of *flesh* is food for the animals - and
food for us.
The *spirit* of the dead would have already gone to their reward -- which
way they went, we don't know!! - so?
Are you questioning whether this might happen again and what would you do?
My feeling on this is - most people have disease of some kind going on in
them - today they take so much medicine - would it be that if you were in
this situation, that you would have to go through their things to find out
if the medicines they were taking could kill you?

In the instance you quoted -- with snow and ice all around -- to burn the
airplane down would mean that you wouldn't have *shelter from another
storm*. And, since you need shelter to survive also, I don't know how you
could have a fire.
Also - since no one smokes anymore (that's cigarettes because the government
says, NO!), no one probably is carrying a lighter. Would a lighter work
under such cold conditions?
