The terms "right" and "left" have no useful meaning in contemporary politics, if they ever did beyond telling you on which side of the aisle in the French parliament someone sat.
There's a continuum running from "libertarian" through "totalitarian" which is a much more useful scale, if you need to find your place.

How terrible!! <sarcasm> This shows that the persons behind the website is not merely against illegal immigration, which is a perfectly legitimate position, but there is a hidden component to it.
It is ironic since it is a trash piece on Hideki Matsui about his lack of the ability to speak English and his alleged questionable morality including his supposed porno collection that he sites Mantel and Ruth spinning in their graves considering THEIR carousing and womanizing, Ruth in particular. To be clear, I am NOT criticising Ruth and Mantle's lifestyle. perhaps it weren't the healthiest lifestyle for them as Mantle admitted toward the end of his life but I don't hold it against them. It is the hypocrisy of the author of that anti Matsui hit piece in holding them up as moral examples over Matsui. I don't know much about Lou Gerhig's private life but from what I have heard he is the only one of the three that can be used as an example of moral uprightness, but again I haven't read much about him. How about Billy Martin's life style? He went to strip clubs and womanized. Was he better than Matsui morally speaking? I don't think so. If you look at the background of the average male major league baseball players, even some of the married ones, aren't exactly the height of clean living. Most male professional athletes period.
This guy is just mad about a Japanese guy being WS MVP. Maybe Chase Utley had better numbers than Matsui overall, but a stand out player from the loosing team rarely wins the World Series MVP so that is nothing new. In any event, the MVP is about what happens on the field, not off. This guy is just mad that a foreigner who can't speak English won. This is what he says:
"I don’t care if Matsui gets 6 RBIs a game in every game he plays until hell freezes over. Non-English speaking Japanese players cannot reflect America no matter how talented they may be."
I don't care if he was a mute, as long as he keeps helping the Yanks win. If he spoke English this guy wouldn't care about Matsui's porn stash. I don't care either way.
I hope Matsui re-signs despite his bad knees. If only to piss off this guy I hope he re-signs.
I hope there is a future transportation breakthrough in having a hypersonic passenger jet so their is the possibility of having meaningful games between the Japan and American Major leagues, just like the Boeing 707 (and similar planes at the time) opened up the west coast of the USA for expansion into California and Washington.

Matsui can speak English. He's been known to in the past. And it's obvious from his facial expressions that he gets the question even before it's translated. Understandably, as a non-English speaker who learned the language as an adult, he doesn't want to risk embarrassing himself on camera in front of hundreds of millions watching worldwide.
As for his porn collection, 1) he's not the only famous person who has one, just the only one who talked about it in public, because 2) the Japanese have different standards for what's acceptable.
