Subject: Madonna beau Jesus Luz lacking Material support for DJ dreams
http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2009/11/05/2009-11-05_madonna_beau_...

Jesus Luz is trying to heat up his deejay career, but he's not getting any help
from his lady love, Madonna.

Asked if the Queen of Pop has offered to collaborate with him, the 23-year-old
Brazilian — who had been busy spinning tunes at a Standard Hotel bash on Tuesday
night — laughed off the inquiry.

"There are steps!" he explained. "You can't just start out and collaborate with
Madonna."

(On the contrary, Jesus, if you're dating her, you probably can.)

The former model doesn't seem to hold a grudge. "I always play her stuff — it's
great," the spinmaster said at the bash, held to celebrate the DVD release of
designer Valentino's documentary, "The Last Emperor."

Well, not always: Luz didn't spin anything from the "Immaculate Collection" in
the Boom Boom Room, but Madge didn't mind. The Material Mom was in the middle of
the party breaking it down with none other than Valentino himself, while Katie
Lee Joel and Yigal Azrouel danced on opposite sides of the room — and Martha
Stewart, Adrien Brody and Marc Jacobs hung out nearby.
