Subject: Fighting Football Cardinals postgame vs. Ohio University
   This is the Ball State Fighting Football Cardinals Fighting
Football Cardinals postgame show.

    Ball State found yet another way to lose Saturday, falling to the
Ohio University Bobcats 20-17 at the Dave. Only 7,321 people attended
the game.

   Two Bobcat field goals opened the scoring, but FFC RB Eric Williams
had a 55-yard run that set up a one-yard TD run bu him. which put the
FFCs up 7-6. Another Ohio FG made the halftime score 9-7.

   Ian McGarvey scored a 22-yard field goal that put Ball State up
10-9, but Ohio answered with another three-pointer that gave them the
lead again.  Then Tanner Justice connected with Jeremy Hill on a 35-
yard TD pass that put the FFCs up again, 17-12.

    But Ohio QB Theo Scott found Terrence McCrae on a seven-yard pass
- then they connected on a two-point conversion - with three minutes
left in the game that sealed the win for the Bobcats.''

    Justice went 6-for-9 for 78 yards and a TD.  Williams led the
runners with 59 yards on five carries. Hill led the receivers with
that one 35-yard TD pass, but MiQuale Lewis aand Daniel Ifft had two
receptions.

    Ball State fell to 1-8 and 1-4 in the MAC. Ohio rose to 6-3 and
4-1 in the MAC.

   Ball State's next game is Nov. 12 at Northern Illinois.

    Here's an update on former FFC coach Brady Hoke: His San Diego
State Aztecs are now 4-4 after they beat New Mexico 23-20 (last year,
they lost to New Mexico 70-7!) and host the sixth-ranked TCU Horned
Frogs this Saturday.
