Try "Victoria, BC". It seems to work for time-dynamis themes (such as
Beach), though I'm not sure it works for weather-related ones (Tree).

Maybe there is some setting in the browser that does this.

Firefox 3 - missing Mountains, Stones, Planets, Graffiti, Beach themes

I use Firefox 3.0.4 and miss some themes - Mountains, and Stones, and
Planets, and Graffiti, and Beach.
Another PC here with Firefox 3.0.4 has all those.

How to get those themes at my PC?

I was talking about the font that is used to display the text when
reading plain text and when composing plain text messages. I don't
care about the font that is used to display the text in the
recipient's e-mail program. But I want to choose how Google Mail
displays the text while I am "handling" it.

thanks a lot for the themes.
but what would be really great, if one could set his/her own picture
as a background picture (in combination with other theme-colors or
EVEN choosing a color-set).

It was annoying when Gmail without my discretion changed from Classic
to the new ugly "Default" theme.

I figured out what my problem was. I had Pidgin configured to use a
specific image for my icon, so it would periodically reset my user
picture to the one selected in Pidgin.

Themes are really fun and nice. But CLASSIC is THE BEST!

It was great fun to explore some themes and use them for several days.
But then it suddenly became annoying.

CLASSIC is THE BEST!
The best design is the one which the user doesn't notice at all!

However themes are a great option, sometimes it feels good to make
common things more fancy.

One more update. Apparently Fort Nelson, a small resource based city
in the northern rockies is also on the list.
How exactly was this list of Canadian cities collected? I can't find
any method to the madness of hits I'm getting on city names.

why customized gmail accounts have no theme choices?

is there anyone know, why customized gmail (gmail not ending with
@gmail.com) does not have theme options? not yet or won't have it at
all?

also a similar question, the iGoogle has a difference appearance for
general @gmail.com accounts from customized accounts. will that change?

update: Kelowna BC is recognized, even though its a 3rd the size of
Victoria. Perhaps if you just consider the core of Victoria instead
of the Greater Victoria area for population, then the city is <
100,000. This is just our way of seperating capital districts in

Im curious as to how long it will take for gmail to load... I guess
the images could be sitting in the cache, but does it take more or
less time to load now with the different themes??

I live in Victoria, BC. The capital city of British Columbia. If you
are only to take a handful of Canadian cities to qualify for location
awareness, one would think the capitals would be essential to the
list. This is not the case here. I have to mark that I am in
Vancouver because Victoria is not a valid city. Maybe a dropdown list

I'm using Gmail but I have my own domain name.
I bought it from Google. But a lot of features of the regular Gmail
are not there:
Themes, smilies, ...
How do I get them to work?
