I'm having the same problem on my Blackberry Curve (Verizon) -
purchased Nov 5. Could it be a Verizon problem? Got a text message
from Verizon about a firmware update, which I will download and hope
it fixes it. Will let you know.

and btw, there's a great forum at howardforums.com for the G1. click
on T-mobile then HTC and G1. Lots of good people over there to help
out with issues.

This is also my biggest complaint. I tried out the T-mobile G1 and it
had a
nice interface for doing this. Hopefully they are working on adapting
that
interface to a non-touchscreen interface.

I am having the SAME issue! Anyone have any suggestions?

I have to go into gmail on my bb and click on "refresh" and then my
new email comes up. But until I do that it doens't tell me I have a
new email.

I am having a similar issue... no outgoing mails are successful, as
the server is rejecting my different "reply-to" address, after working
perfectly since August. (I DO have all the outboxes etc).

This is my problem:

Very true. The addition of this feature would make the Gmail client
on the G1 almost perfect.

Hello,
1. create a yahoo email address ( [email address])
2. In your gmail, create a filter to forward teh specific emails you
want to your yahoo address.
3. Create an mobile alert in yahoo for everytime you receive an email
from your gmail address into yahoo.
OR
Create a filter in your gmail and forward the email as a text message

Nokia 6650 - app runs, but can't type!

I just downloaded the Gmail mobile app for my Nokia 6650 (S60).
It downloaded fine. It installed fine. It _seems_ to run fine.
The login screen comes up.

I can see that the user name field is "active", but I cannot type
anything into it.
Same for password. Keys make normal beeping sound, just nothing ever

I downloaded and successfully installed Gmal for Mobile on my BB.

From the Main Profile menu, I can see that there is a Gmail - New Mail
option which I have set the corresponding ring tones to. However, it
still does not alert me of new messages, instead I have to manually
access my Gmail to know that a new message is waiting in my Inbox.

I composed 6 messages on my IPhone. Every time I click into Mail, the
system tries to resend those 6 same messages. They have not been
delivered, and I have been able to accept new incoming email messages.
There is no "Outbox" folder on my IPhone or on the main account on my

gmail mobile app 2.0 was just released - it gives you this ability
plus many others =D Now... again, google, please help us with the
IMAP->Blackberry setup!

The new version of google sync was just released for blackberry today
- it comes with the contact sync option we've all been waiting for!
=D Now if we could just get some help with the full IMAP support...
